Hey, ever played Guitar Hero 2? Of course you have! Notice that 30-second animated bit at the beginning? I did that. Well, I had help, of course!
It’s the story of a titanic rawwk battle between guitar giants Judy and Axel as they fight their way through the city. Warning to architecture fans: some building get destroyed.
I did the character designs of Axel and Judy based on game, then did the backgrounds; Arvydas Slabosevicius (Ghostmilk Studios) capably animated it in AfterEffects; and all was done under the watchful eye of Harmonix lead art director, Dare Matheson.
Oh, and we did the opening animation for the Guitar Hero 80s edition too.
